A chemical etching process creates this ultra sharp blade, producing a double bevel perfectly suited to clear corneal incisions. The geometry allows high maneuverability for crafting the phaco self-sealing corneal tunnel.

Sideport Knives

There existing different types of knives which can be used for a Sideport for example MVR or Stab knives.
The main interest Kai Medical had was to develop knives which are perfectly designed for Sideports.

Bleb Knives

Bleb needling is capable of restoring function to clinically failed glaucoma filtering blebs. A small-gauge needle is usually used to puncture and incise the fibrous episcleral tissue. However, needle movement is sometimes restricted by strong resistance under the conjunctiva, with the result that incision of the episcleral scar tissue is inefficient.
A crescent knife is used for cataract surgery to incise hard tissue but is too wide manipulate under the conjunctiva via small entry site. We have now developed an extra-fine crescent knife for bleb revision.

CF X-LINKER ® is the only system that can perform Custom Fast CXL (cfCXL), customized, low power EPI-ON cross-linking treatment. Our proprietary software uses a mathematical model to calculate the procedure parameters automatically, based on patients’ topographic and pachymetric values. Custom Fast CXL allows the user to provide patients with a treatment tailored to their specific needs while maintaining high safety standards.
Custom Fast CXL is supported by several international publications, including a 7-year follow-up.
